Introduction
The e-mail multimedia keyboard combine detect the pop3 function and multimedia hotkeys function. The e-mail Multimedia Keyboard is for personal computers to help users make the best use of multimedia functions.
The e-mail
Multimedia Keyboard is compatible with Windows 98 /Windows NT4 / Windows 2000 /
Windows Millennium /Windows XP Edition.
Note : Some functions may not be available for Windows 95 users.
The e-mail
Multimedia Keyboard has 21
built-in keys for more convenient use of the keyboard.
For
normal operation of e-mail Multimedia Keyboard following are the requirements
in a personal computer.
1.
IBM® PC compatible system.
2.
Windows® 98/NT/2000/ME/XP operations system.
3.
IBM® AT or PS/2 compatible keyboard port.
4.
CD-ROM driver (for CD and Video operation).
5.
Standard sound card (Optional for CD and Video
operation).
6.
The E-mail server is POP3.
Software Installation
Note : Do not install other
software such as Winamp, Xing Mpeg Player etc.
This
is to prevent collision with other multimedia programs, which may
cause
Unexpected problems.
1.
Insert the CD supplied with the keyboard into the
CD-ROM drive.
2.
Installation program will automatically run when CD is
inserted.
3.
Run Setup.exe file, if the installation program does
not run the program automatically.
4.
Choose the desired language and click "OK"
5.
Click "Finish" to restart the computer.

The program is always on the run when the computer is switched on and the icon on the right bottom of the screen is displayed. Right click the mouse on the icon to set the e-mail multimedia environment of the keyboard.
Configure “Cal” key and “My Computer” key Function
Move the mouse cursor to the keyboard

Click mouse right key on “keyboard icon”.
Move the mouse cursor to “configuration”. Click mouse left key.
Screen pop the picture.
Move the mouse cursor to the customizing key then Click mouse left key. The screen display the menu.
This function allows you to select your desired application or function. Just type in the path and file name or Web site address in the "File" or the “address” box. If you are unsure about the path or file name, click on "Browse File" to search for the right path and file name. The name of the selected application will appear in the "Label" box. This name can be manually clanged to any name you wish to use as a label. To change the name, click on the "Label" box and retype the name you wish to appear on the chosen button. Click on the "OK" button to complete the name change. Now when you click on a customized button, the application will be launched. When you finish customizing hot buttons.
Setting e-mail detect
function
Move the mouse cursor to the keyboard

Click the mouse right key on “keyboard icon”.
Screen pop the menu.
If you want to use the e-mail detect function you must :
1. Select “Check Mail”
2. Key in use name.
3. Key in password:
4. Key in POP3 Server address
If you want to change the detect time, must key in second value.
If you want to change the LED Flash Time Elapsed , must key in second vale.
Click “Show notify message when detect mail failed “ , you can enable “Show notify message when detect mail failed “ function.
Notice : If your user name or password or POP3 Service address setup is error , the
screen will display an exclamation mark “
You can change the
sound when you detected e-mail :
Click on "Browse File" to search for the right path and file name. The name of the selected application will appear in the "Sound File" box. The sound file must be a “.WAV” file.
When your setup is
ready , you can e-mail to yourself . Close Outlook and wait a check interval time

Multimedia key Function
Sleep On computers with a power management
program, the " Sleep" Hot
Key enables you to: Start your screen saver / Log off Windows /
Shut down Windows. (Except WIN95 O.S.)
Suspend Turns the system into screen
saver.(WIN95
O.S. ONLY)
Note : The program may not
function properly in some computers.
On computers with a power management
program, the " Wake Up "
Hot Key enables you to restore, or Wake up your computer.
On computers with a power management
program, the "Power" Hot
Key enables you to: Log off Windows / Shut down Windows.
Press this button to go to previous page.
Press this button to
go to next page.
Press this button to stop current transmission.
Press this button to update the current page.
Press this button to bring up " Search
Window " for Web address.
Press this button again to close " Search Window ".
Press this button to bring up " My
Favorite Window " .
Press this button again to close " My Favorite Window ".
Press this button to go to the default Home Page.
Press this button to activate the e-mail system.
Press this button to mute sound. Press it again to resume sound.
Press this button to
decrease volume.
Press this button to increase volume.
Press this button to set media back by one
track. During playback
of a video file, depress this button to cause the player to rapidly
reverse it's playback direction. Press this button once to skip
back to the beginning of current track. Press this button twice
to skip back to the beginning of previous track.
Press this button to stop playing the media.
Press this button to begin playing a CD or
a video file
(or to restart after pause). During playback press this
key to pause the playback, press it again to
resume
playback on current position.
Press this button to instruct the CD player
to queue up beginning
of the next track. During play back in a video file. Depress this
button to cause the player to fast forward.
Press this button to activate " Windows Media Player ".
Press this button to activate Windows
" Calculator ".
Press this button to open " My computer ".
